hello, on my old install i used to have different subdomain, alld inside folders protected by amember no problem. But on my new server the way Virtualmin treats subdomain is tricky, there's no such subdomain, but instead it creates by default a new virtual server for the subdomain. the fact is the main domain user cannot have the rights to access the folder of the subdomain, will amember fail to protect a folder it could not read? thank you for your answers
No. But you can change that folder permissions to 777 so it could be accessible for aMember, then set protection and change folder's permissions back to 755
