How to test payment systems?

How can we test how the integration with PayPal is working without actually making purchases?

Thanks for the info David! I stell have a question even after reading all of this... Is there any rysk to work with this system? I have enough money, but not enough to spend them in a rysk projects.

I tested my paypal by asking a friend to purchase my products, and then giving him a refund. Does not cost anything at all, and you get to see exactly how it works.

And as to the other question: No, there is no risk with this program, it is well worth the money and the support is pretty good too.

Yeah, its always a good idea to do a "live" test! You never know what might happen until you play customer.
