I have an offer that gives 60 days free and apply to recurring so user does not need a credit card at sign up. How can I have this be a paid subscription after that period and how do I prompt the user to add credit card to continue with the subscription.
I'm not certain but I suspect that you have switch them from a free product to a paid one using an expired email in the protected content section of the ACP.
I misstated the use case. The product does have a monthly fee associated with it. I use a coupon code to make it free for the first 60 days. Because I choose to allow to apply to recurring, it does not require a CC. This is the desired behavior. However, after the 60 days it just stops. I want to have a notice go to the user that would enable them to enter a card to continue with the subscription.
