    Hi all

    Can someone please tell me how I go about adding the Google Conversion Tracking Code to the thanks.html template ?

    I tried adding the code but got the following error:

    Warning: Smarty plugin error: ... unknown tag - 'var' in /home/u2/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1809 ...

    Thanks !

    The AdWords conversion tracking code ... example looks like this:

    <!-- Google Code for Purchase Conversion Page -->
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    var google_conversion_id = xxxxxxxxxxxxxx;
    var google_conversion_language = "en_US";
    var google_conversion_format = "1";
    var google_conversion_color = "666666";
    if (1) {
    var google_conversion_value = 1;
    }
    var google_conversion_label = "Purchase";
    //-->
    </script>
    <script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js">
    </script>
    <noscript>
    <img height=1 width=1 border=0 src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/?value=1&label=Purchase&script=0"></noscript> </body>

    Thanks so much !

    could you please try to change it to:

    PHP:
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    var
    google_conversion_id xxxxxxxxxxxxxx;
    var
    google_conversion_language "en_US";
    var
    google_conversion_format "1";
    var
    google_conversion_color "666666";
    if (
    1) {
    var
    google_conversion_value 1;
    }
    var
    google_conversion_label "Purchase";
    </
    script>
    <
    script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js">
    </
    script>
    <
    noscript>
    <
    img height=1 width=1 border=0 src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/?value=1&label=Purchase&script=0"></noscript

    The problem is that aMember automatically puts
    {literal}{/literal} around <script..>...</script>

    mitchmagi,

    Have you had any success using google to track your subscriptions?
    I'm also very interested in finding a good system to track PPC, a/b split, landing pages, etc.

    I've been trying to use google analytics, but am having problems, especially understanding how to integrate conversions.
