Hi I need to move my site to a new host, and after a lot of reading on these forums, the most concise guide seems to be this one (thanks to whoever contributed this): Backup files / Database.. Issues you will find: 1) configinc.php will need to be updated to reflect your new path 2) .htacess files may need to be updated to reflect your new path 3) your "protect folder" configuration, while not really important, will still show your old path to folders. You can kill two birds (#2 & #3) by fixing this 4) Reprotect folders (CHMOD) My question is, has anyone put together a step by step detailed guide showing how to move an aMember site to a new host (same domain name). I looked at the instructions above and cannot see anything in configinc.php that would need to be updated. Any help appreciated. Maybe after I move my site, I'll create a fill detailed tutorial for everyone. thanks Andy
