    Hi there,

How do the forum integration plugins work exactly?

Does it force registrations through aMember pro only, and not the forum software itself?

So for example, if someone wants to sign up to my forum without going through the aMember process, what would happen?

    Many thanks for your help

Also, can an integration plugin protect selected boards?

Please have a look how integration plugins works
    http://www.amember.com/docs/How_It_Works#Integration_Plugins

It sync users between aMember and 3ty part script (forum) and assign groups to user in forum based on his active subscription in aMember. Also most plugins implements single login feature eg. in case user login in aMember he will be automatically logged in in 3ty part script as well.

All registration should goes via aMember. Then aMember populate this data to 3ty party script in background.

Regarding access permissions you need to restrict access to boards based on forum user groups and aMember will assign such group only in case user has active subscription in aMember.

    Best Regards.

If you want to allow free signups to your forum, you'd create a free product in amember.
