I am wondering if it possible to change the date format in Signup E-Mail/Payment Receipt to User/Admin Payment Notifications email templates.
I have used these placeholders in the email templates
    %user.added%
Displays in email as: 2014-10-29 21:54:04
    %user.startdate%
    Displays in email as: 2014-10-07

I understand this is the mysql date format is there a way to make it more user friendly
    ie. 29/10/2014

I would also like to show a date in the email template 1 year from the user added date.

Another problem my prices are showing with the $ sign after the subscription prices site wide. (I have locale set to Australia English)
    eg.
    1. Plan A 1x205.00 $ 205.00 $
    Total 205.00 $
    205.00 $ Deposit then 60.00 $ every 7 days (55 installments)

    Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to the amember team for a prompt and fast reply to my queries.
    This is what I learned.

To display dates in email templates in a more readable format use |date
    %user.added|date%
