Using the 'edit messages' option I've modified various phrases (example: 'E-mail' becomes 'email').

I understand these changes are saved to 'table am_translation'.

After familiarizing myself with various aspects of aMember, I've dropped all tables for a fresh start for proper use.

But I don't know how to get the modified text back into the table. I thought it would be as simple as using phpMyAdmin and a cut-paste into the table - but this isn't working.

I'm currently reading and learning more, but if anyone has an easy answer I'll be appreciative.

You need to choose this table in phpMyAdmin and use 'Export' action to save table structure and data to file.
Then user Import action on your other database and use this file for import.

    Please refer to attached screenshot.
