    Hello,

My amember install (about 3 years old) has run into some problems lately.

It has an "Error establishing a database connection" when I go to the login page. http://macdojo.com/students-area/login/

I have media temple and they just updated their PHP version which causes problems with Mysql stuff and made me change database user passwords. I believe this is related.

I would like some help understanding how to reconnect the information inside my amember install to the correct database credentials. Or help troubleshooting what to do from here. Thank you!

Tharyn go to your aMember installation - Applicacation - Configs and open 'config.php'

That file contains database login details and can be edited to the new database connection details.

Thank you, i found the config file and updated the info, but it still won't talk.

I opened up a support ticket.

If anyone else has any ideas let me know. I'll be tinkering with it.

    Thank you for the help!
