    Hello

I would like the user to automatically be logged into wordpress after logging into the amember members area. But every time i log in and go over to my wordpress post it requires me to login to comment.

Is there a way I can have it automatically login the user into Wordpress as well as Amember?

Sounds like you havent integrated properly. Have you enabled the amember wordpress plugin in amember and in wordpress?

    Hey David thanks for replying.

I have. I went through and documented my issue:

    plugin activated?
    yes

user being added to wordpress database?
    yes

    security salts match?
    yes

    picture of my plugin settings:

How I am able to tell wordpress is not being logged in when use logs into amember:

    1) Log into amember
    2) click to open blog homepage
    3) click a post
    4) it asks me to log in to comment
    5) I manually type in myblog.com/wp-admin and it prompts me to log in,
    6) I open back up /amember/member.php and I am still logged into amember.

    Wordpress caching is turned off.
    My amember version is 3.2.4PRO

What plugin are you using in wordpress?
amprotect or the amember wp plugin?

Are both your site and wordpress using www or not using www?

Also, I see that you have the other database checked, but nothing in the fields. This should either be set to no, or yes and the field data entered.

But it says "usually you can leave this field empty." and it does add the user to the wordpress database when I add a subscription to the user. I did just now enter in the database credentials but no change everything I log in to amember. I still have to manually log into wordpress as well. So no go : (

I am using 'Role Scoper' within Wordpress to protect my content, but that shouldn't have anything to do with the log in process should it? Should I be using a particular WordPress plugin to complete the connection?

www on both amember and wordpress

This issue is still open for me. Is it a possibility to have someone come on and troubleshoot onsite for me?

V4? create a new thread, but it sounds like your integration is not correct- also update your amember to 4.2.14 or higher (when available)

When you update- make sure to remember to upload the newer amember plugin to wordpress.

    Check this:
    1. make sure that root urls in both aMember and wordpress are use the same domain name. There can be issues if domains are different(for example
    www.domain.com
    and domain.com).

    2. Make sure that you have valid not-default security keys in wordpress config.

    3. Security keys in amember's plugin configuration must be exactly the same as in plugin config.

    4. Check aMember CP -> Protect Content -> Integration and make sure that you set integration for wordpress plugin.

    5. Also, just a note, single login will not work for users who have groups listed in aMember CP -> Setup -> Wordpress -> Admin Groups
