I setup a recurring price for a product, at $97 a month, first and each subsequent month. I then created a coupon giving $97 credit, one time only, so it works out to be free for the first month. When the user goes to sign up, using the coupon code, it gives them the credit, and it asks them for their CC info. When they put it in, it says CC payment failed. (I tried with my own CC which I know works and is valid.) I do get a receipt via email from Authorize.net that says they processed : Invoice : none Description : Test transaction for ValidateCustomerPaymentProfile. Amount : 0.00 (USD) Payment Method : Visa Type : Authorization Only It appears that the CIM plugin is not setup to handle an "Authorization Only" transaction for a free trial period. Can anyone tell me if this is working as directed? Is there a better way to do free trial periods. I need to be able to use Authorize.net to process the CC when it does charge. Thanks, Brian
