    Hi, there,

I hate to admit how I'm so new to aMember that I don't know where to start when it comes to implementing in with a Drupal site I'm building.

Do I leave amember in its own folder off of the root? Or do all of the files in the "amember" folder have to be in the root, too?

Thanks so much, and sorry for the basic questions,

    - Paul

Install it in its own folder off root. If you install it in root you'll overwrite .htaccess, index.php and possibly some other stuff and it will be much harder to maintain and manage. :)

    Thanks a bunch, Andy.

Do you have multiple levels on your own site?

If so, how do you manage this with Drupal?

Any other thoughts or ideas to make this work as smoothly as possible?

    Thanks a lot,

    - Paul

I'm a Joomla man so no experience with Drupal, but I'd imagine they're much the same in terms of aMember. It's incredibly straightforward to get in and working. Install aMember, install the Drupal plugin, configure it which takes no time, set up your products and payment gateway and away you go. Sounds a lot, but it's not. Even found templating with aMember 4 much easier and far more flexible than it was with v3.
