aMember and Liquidweb

I'm having trouble installing aMember 4 on Liquidweb. After setting up a MySQL db, whenever I insert the UN, PW and DB name on the setup page, I get the error:

• MySQL Error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method umknown to the client at /home/website1/public_html/amember/library/Am/Setup.php line 110(2054) in query: new PDO​

I'm curious...which version of php is used on your server?

I have been using Liquidweb for almost 10 years now without problem.

Make sure the PDO module has been installed otherwise ask their excellent support staff to install it.
