I am using aMember in a Wordpress install.

I understand the process of protecting a page that is in a menu and have it only show when the appropriate subscriber has access to it.

What I want to do is eliminate items from the menu for a subscriber.
Basically having some of the marketing pages go away to clear the menu.

    Any ideas how to address?

    Rance,

While the menu manipulation feature of aMember is pretty cool, you have stumbled onto one of its weaknesses. Basically you can only hide pages/posts/categories that you have applied protection to.

However, there are plans on the RoadMap to improve this feature by release 4.3. Here is the description of the ticket

I will add this forum post to the ticket to kinda give it a poke :)

    Thanks for the quick response.
If anyone has any ideas for a work around on how to remove menu items from Wordpress when logged in, it would be greatly appreciated.

So I have Uber menu working great on the wordpress side. I have a set of menu choices for when they are logged in that only shows once in AND I have menu item (marketing stuff) that go away once logged in.

The issue I am haveing is that once logged in and you hit the amemeber side, the menu choices are the ones as if I am not logged in and none of the logged in items are visible.

    Any ideas?

It seems single login doesn't work between aMember and wordpress.
Check keys which you have in aMember CP -> Setup -> Wordpress and make sure keys are meet these requirements:
    1. Keys are not default.
    2. All keays are different.
    3. All keys are the same as you have in your wordpress wp-config.php

I have verified the keys are not default, all are different, and the same as wp-config.
It is still not working. It just shows the menu as it I am logged out. BTW the widgets do show the right account access links

Widgets use aMember session to show content and the problem seems to be in broken single login functionality.
Please submit a ticket to helpdesk and provide access info, I will test this.
