    Hi There,

We have an existing membership site that we would like to move to Amember.

Our biggest issue is that we have a phpBB forum that is fairly active with over 10K posts. I guess my question is, can that be moved over, along with member data seamlessly or would it be alot of manual account creation, etc.?

I know it would be above and beyond a normal install- but is that something you could handle?

    Thanks,

    Evan

Accounts can be moved, but it will be necessary to generate new passwords for all customers.

You will need to generate CSV list of your user's login/email info. Then inport it in amember CP -> Import (with generate password option) Then email new login info from aMember CP -> Email Users

The problem is that amember is importing the members llike this : pmartin,,pmartin643@aol.com for the user name and the email section is blank.
Can you please tell us how to prevent that from happenning?
I have close to 500 members and I am having a nightmare.

Have you tried opening the csv file in Excel and adjusting the columns to fit what AMember is looking for?
