I was originally looking at amember for a new recurring service I am starting soon but since I am liking it very much from what I have seen I am now considering moving all my products over to amember.

The biggest problem would be my affiliate program. I am currently using e-junkie for my (one-time payment) products and have quite many active affiliates there.

Hence my question is if it would be possible to...
1. import all the affiliates from e-junkie to the new amember affiliate program.

2. redirect all old e-junkie affiliate links to the new amember affiliate link of the same user.

Since I already noticed the import page in amember I don't think 1 will be a problem but what about 2? Is that even possible or has someone already tried something like that before? Any tips appreciated!

Another quick unrelated question I have: Is it possible to combine the "select on of x products" and "check x products" in amember? So that my customers would have to choose one of products a,b,c, and could check any of products x,y,z for example?

I have a question regarding how the affiliate program built into eMember works in conjunction with an integrated shopping cart, such as X-Cart, which also has an affiliate program.

Is it possible to merge the two? In other words, have one central affiliate program that manages both ... the subscription-based affiliate commissions that occur through eMember as well as commissions on product sales made via X-Cart?

Alternatively, if the shopping cart does NOT have its own affiliate system, is it possible to provide commissions for sales via that cart through the eMember affiliate program?

Hi,

Just a question about the affiliate program.
I'm not planning to pay people because I won't be selling anything on my website.
Instead users can earn "points" every time some visitor click on their affiliate link. They can also earn points by performing some actions on the website. When they reach X points, they will get a gift/voucher for example...
Is this possible with aMember?

Also is it possible to use something like this:
if($LoggedIn){
echo "Text/links for logged in users";
}else{

echo "Text for visitors";
}

Because I would like to hide some links for not registered users.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Our magazine is considering using aMember as our subscription software,
but would like to speak to some existing clients to see how aMember is working for them. We've already spoken with one who was primarily positive, but would like to hear from others.

Our magazine would like to offer e-journal subscriptions with automatic notification, but we haven't found anything that really meets our needs. We have digital subscriptions we want to set up so that subscribers can choose between a paper copy and a digital one, and the system would let the subscriber know when the new issue is ready and allow them to download it.

We'd like to interface with PayPal, which is what our subscribers are used to, but again, finding something that interfaces with them that is cost-efficient
and user-friendly (for me as an internal user). Automatic renewal (rebill) would also be a huge benefit, both for us and for our subscribers.

Is anyone here interested in sharing their experiences? If so, please email me or send me a private message.

Thanks,

Katherine

Is this type of solution provided by amember?
If not, would you know any other solution to do so? Or maybe a specific development?

Thank you in advance!

1- As soon as payment is confirmed, provide a download link to client to get purchased product

2- Since we will be selling digital products, we will have to provide support as well. We have installed bbpress which is using same user table with WordPress. Is there any way to create a user account on WordPress during or after purchase of the product? We want to keep registration strictly just for our clients. I mean, we don't want people to register for our site unless they purchase an item.
