View Full Version : Is It Possible To Have A Moderator ?

I alex i was wondering if is possible to have extra accounts to be able to access the admin interface
with limitate access.

For example i would like to have a few people havinhg access to the payment page so they can check how many products have been sold.


Even better would be assign 1/some product to a specific user with admin access ( or a similar page )
when that user login in the admin account it will only see the sale of the products assigned to him.

for the same reason i couldnt give my staff access to it since all finacial data is open to everyone... can't wait til this feature is released.

This would be great. I pay a commission to suppliers of informaiton that I sell subscriptions to on my site. This would give them a way to check on how their products were doing!

Wondering if this feature is available yet. I would LOVE to be able to grant "limited admin access" to others in the company.

Next version will be 2.0RC1 - it will be released in Monday.

I'd like to suggest "Distributor/Reseller" support as well.

Distributors/Resellers would be people with their own payment methods who pay "us" an amount associated with every sale. This is similar to affiliates but the responsibility for recieving the money rests with them. Also the customers have a relationship directly with the "distributor/reseller" as opposed to "affiliates" who are middle-men.

Having the ability for a distributor/reseller to uses aMember so they can manage their sales would be brilliant esecially if their paying "us" could be automated when they need to pay for the products they've sold ;)

running into this issue myself.

I need to allow a few assistants to just browse/search for users and look at recent payments ... but I don't want them adding products, or changing fields around.

has anyone succesfully customized their own templates to do this ?

Perhaps we could pool our money together and "convince" alex to support this :)
